We all want to work in inclusive organizations. But what is inclusivity to you? To the organization? For many organizations, inclusivity starts with workshops focusing on diversity and equity. It certainly can’t end there.
In September 2020 Rebecca joined Jamie Lin, Education & Professional Development Manager @ ATLA and Dr. Shailoo Bedi of University of Victoria at Information Today’s Internet Librarian Connect2020 to talk about inclusive workplaces. Our conversation was candid, personal, and wide-ranging – just as inclusivity is. Inclusivity starts with each of us as individuals. It’s what we do that as individuals that creates and grows inclusive working relationships.
