On May 21st we talked with two Nexters: Chance Glasco interviewed by Chad Mairn about how VR can – and will – fundamentally change learning and working together. VR will replace the flat screens through which we now interact on Zoom, Webex, Blackboard and other learning systems.

Chance was an original founding member of the Call of Duty Franchise, the largest entertainment franchise of the 2000’s. His newest venture, Doghead Simulations, focuses on fundamentally improving the way people educate, train, and collaborate using VR.” Their product, rumii , is a virtual-reality platform for up to forty people – located anywhere – to meet, interact, collaborate or learn in one virtual space.

Chad is the Innovation Lab Manager at St. Petersburg College and a very active musician in 3 bands. A wild man – always knows the latest technologies for immersive learning experiences (also knows the best beer) and is passionate about bringing people to new realizations using technology.

Here’s the recording and – below that – the podcast.
